The TradeSmart Consult team was part of the official launch of the 2020 Logistics Performance Survey (LPS).

In 2021, the Shippers Council of Eastern Africa (SCEA) partnered with Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) and commissioned TradeSmart Consult to undertake the 2020 Logistic Performance Survey.

The objectives of the survey were as follows:

• Establish key performance indicators, namely cost, time & complexity
• Establish the performance of the Central and Northern corridors
• Identify the key factors affecting logistics performance in Eastern Africa and propose suitable interventions to address the identified pain points
